About Aladdin Flooring

Aladdin Flooring, a northeastern Oklahoma Better Business Bureau member, is "Tulsa, Oklahoma's hardwood floor refinishers".

Aladdin Flooring is a fully insured flooring contractor with over fifteen years of hands on experience and a long list of satisfied customers. They specialize in both residential and commercial work as well as insurance claim work.

When it comes to floor installation, Aladdin sets itself apart from the rest. Jeff, the owner apprenticed with Kristian Oyen, formerly of Nashville, after several years on an East coast refinishing crew. During his apprenticeship with Kristian Floor Design in the late eighties, he became a crafter of custom, handmade inlay borders. These borders were especially popular in the early 1900s. The is Jeff's 17th year in the business. He has personally sanded nearly a million square foot, and installed closed to half that much flooring during this time His border-work includes both french knots, and Greek "Key" to name just a few. We offer retro-fitted custom inlay borders around rooms and fireplaces priced on a "by the foot" basis. We never install any fake laser-cut(water-jet) medallions or mass-fabricated bordering you might find available on the internet because we just think the impossibly clean cuts made from the advanced computerized fabrication machines are non-complimentary to the natural look of hand craftsmanship. We DO install flush-mounted floor vents in both red and white oak, because we find them both attractive and complimentary. These are the only machine made parts we install in our floors. Our simple installation process is time-tested and true. We promise to take the time to give you a squeak-free installation from the sub-floor up, by promising to never use any destructive means to fasten our subflooring to your slab with a ram-set or any other pin-driving system. These systems, however quick as they may be, are shortcuts to both speed and profit. We take the time to both drill and fasten our plywood sub-flooring with self-tapping steel concrete screws. Although this is a somewhat slower and much more expensive way to anchor plywood, we know the damage that always results from removing plywood fastened with these inferior techniques from prior repairs we have made to existing floors in water-damaged areas. Water-damage include anywhere in a house from around a bath-tub, commode, to under the refrigerator because of a leaky ice-maker. Large pancakes of concrete are pulled from the once smoothe slab, leaving large unfillable voids where nothing future can be mounted with any integrity. We're simply not going to do it! .
